An Encounter with Evil: The Abraham Zapruder Story

Almost a year ago, The Future of Freedom Foundation published my book An Encounter with Evil: The Abraham Zapruder Story, which I consider to be the best work I have done in the 33-year history of FFF.

For decades, the official story had been that the famous Zapruder film, which captured the assassination of President Kennedy, had been delivered to LIFE magazine in Chicago on November 23, 1963, the day after the assassination.

The Abraham Zapruder camera.

Not so. As I detail in my book, after the film was flown from Dallas to Chicago on Saturday, it was then secretly diverted to the CIA’s Photographic Interpretation Center (NPIC) in Washington, D.C., where it was delivered on Saturday night. The next day, Sunday, the film was secretly taken to the CIA’s top-secret photographic center called “Hawkeyworks,” which was located inside Kodak’s headquarters in Rochester, New York, where an altered copy was made on an optical printer. That altered copy was then brought back to NPIC on Sunday night, where it was falsely and fraudulently presented as the original film.

As I detailed in my book The Kennedy Autopsy, which is FFF’s all-time best-selling book, on the evening of the assassination — November 22 — the Pentagon performed a fraudulent autopsy on President Kennedy’s body. See my recent article “An Old-Line Conservative Weighs in on the JFK Assassination” for some examples of the autopsy fraud.

At the risk of belaboring the obvious, there is no innocent explanation for either a fraudulent autopsy or a fraudulent film. Either separately or combined, they provide irrefutable circumstantial evidence that the assassination of President Kennedy was one of the several Cold War regime-change operations carried out by the U.S. national-security establishment. For motive, read FFF’s best-selling book JFK’s War with the National Security Establishment: Why Kennedy Was Assassinated by Douglas Horne, who served on the staff of the Assassination Records Review Board in the 1990s.

I fully understand that I am biased, but I highly recommend these three books to get a good, overall understanding of the Kennedy assassination. (Another excellent book that I highly recommend is JFK and the Unspeakable: Why He Died and Why It Matters by James W. Douglass.)

The following are excerpts of reviews on Amazon of my book An Encounter with Evil: The Abraham Zapruder Story. You can buy the book at Amazon here.

“Hornberger provides great intellectual and historical context – as well as convincing evidence, repeated in his other books – for his claims that the assassination was a Deep State take-down of a threat to their power.”

“This book will go down as one of the best in my collection. Hornberger did a masterful job of piecing together the puzzle.”

“At the beginning, I felt the author was getting too detailed and far afield with other details of the Kennedy assassination, but as the book progresses, I am drawn in, and see the necessity of the details I thought extraneous.”

“I am simply saying you need to read his book, and read it with the life of David in mind.”

“A gripping story one cannot put down.”

“A must read.”

“This book tells the truth.”

“Jacob Hornberger has written another concise and compelling indictment of the assassination of JFK by the National Security Establishment.”

“I can hardly believe any book out there could serve as a better contemporary introduction to the subject.”

“Hornberger takes a fascinating look at a mysterious secret buried within the Zapruder family for half a century.”

“WOW! I have over 50 books in my personal library pertaining to the JFK assassination, NONE of which contain this explosive information!”

“If we were not living in the sordid “national-security state,” this book would revolutionize public attitudes toward the JFK assassination.”

“Si hubiera mas personas tan valientes como el autor, viviriamos en un mundo mucho mejor.” (If there were more people as brave as the author, we would live in a much better world.)

“Jacob Hornberger has written an excellent book!”

“An excellent and informative read that I would recommend.”

“This book ties it all together — the Kennedy foreign policy goals, the national security state opposition to them, the fake autopsy, the alterations to the Zapruder film, the cover up later on — into a gripping story that never lets up.”

“Reads like a good mystery novel — sadly it’s not fiction — it’s a history book. This is essential reading for anyone who wants to understand how our government really operates.”

“This is one of the two best books I have read on the Kennedy assassination, the other being JFK and the Unspeakable.”

“This book has a theory that may explain why we are all so confused. Great well written analysis.”

“As a researcher this is one of the best books I have read.”

“Jacob Hornberger takes readers on a journey through history to learn about the Zapruder film.”

“Great organization of thought.”

“Another debunking of ‘official’ history.”

“The author is on point regarding his claims about Zapruder.”

“Brilliant. Well written and generally concise analysis of the Zapruder film and the reason for the JFK assassination.”

“I highly recommend this book. Was a page turner in my opinion.”

“A gripping story one cannot put down.”

“Amazing, absolutely amazing. Incredible research. The author has delved deep into both the murder of John Kennedy and the evil that surrounded it. That evil persists to this day. A must read.”
