As Biden and Democrats try to shoe in as many gun control measures as they can, North Dakota's governor has declared his state is a Second Amendment Sanctuary State. Additionally, the state has been passing pro-gun laws at breakneck speeds.

As Twin Cities Pioneer Press reports:

North Dakota political leaders have pumped out a series of new pro-gun laws in the last few months, citing a preemptive need to counteract Democratic President Joe Biden’s hopes of tightening federal firearm regulations. The few lawmakers who stood against the legislation said Biden isn’t some boogeyman coming to take residents’ guns away.

The Republican-led Legislature has passed at least nine bills that expand gun rights or protect gun owners and sellers. GOP Gov. Doug Burgum has signed them all and issued a symbolic proclamation on Monday, April 26, designating North Dakota as a “Second Amendment Sanctuary State.”

The edict does not carry the weight of law, but Burgum said it “sends a strong message to Congress and the White House that we will firmly resist any attempts to infringe” on the right to keep and bear firearms. Leaders in several other states have made similar declarations since Biden took office in January.

According to NRA-ILA, North Dakota has passed 5 brand new pro-gun bills that expand the number of firearms someone is legally allowed to carry, increase the locations a person can carry a concealed weapon, reduce violations for breaking permit laws, strengthen laws protecting the right to self defense, and further embolden the rights of gun stores and other places to legally sell firearms.

North Dakota is one in a series of states that have passed pro-gun laws as of late. And another state that officially became a Second Amendment Sanctuary State is West Virginia, which passed their law on April 29, 2021.

These laws will further protect lives as an analysis shows 69 mass shootings have been stopped by armed civilians, with there also being a 94% success rate in all instances where civilians tried to stop a mass shooter.
