A petition to impeach Maxine Waters for inciting violence on Change.Org has gone viral. The petition calls to light that Maxine Waters may have been responsible for a shooting right after her statements demanding black people "get confrontational" if they don't get what they want.

"Hours after Maxine Waters told people to be more confrontational there was a drive-by-shooting at US national guard," the petition reads. "In supporting the second impeachment of President Trump, California Democrat Rep. Maxine Waters said he was “inciting” his followers, and was 'trying to create a Civil War,'" it continues.

The petition went viral on Reddit, getting thousands of upvotes in just 16 hours. It is currently the second-highest-upvoted post on Reddit's Conservative page within the last 24 hours, and many commenters are expressing they are are appalled at Maxine Waters' statements.

"She needs to go. This should be an obvious, bi-partisan opinion," one Redditor said.

"For the good of her own party she should resign...after she’s formally charged with insurrection," another commented.

"Can't upvote this enough. Disgusting behavior from someone who clearly has nothing going for her other than race baiting," a third Redditor commented.

Maxine Waters is also being blamed for a dangerous shooting that broke out in Minnesota shortly following her comments. The targets of the shooting were police officers and National Guardsmen, multiple people were injured.

Additionally, the National Guard members patrolling the area were cussed at by residents as they tried to protect the very people cussing them out. The drive-by shooting is just the latest in a constant stream of negative sentiment driven mainly by Maxine Waters and others calling for unrest and spreading hate-filled propaganda about police officers.

Currently, Republican Congressmen have introduced a resolution to expel Maxine Waters, while her former opponent who ran against her in 2020, Joe Collins - an African-American who is a certified counselor for rape and sexual assault victims and a Navy Veteran - openly called for her resignation on Fox News.
